Girls golf: Raiders shoot season low

Hudson's girls' golf team put together it best score of the season to take third at a 9-hole Big Rivers Conference match at Turtleback Golf Course in Rice Lake Thursday, Sept. 6.

Three Raiders finished in the top ten individually to lead Hudson to a season-low score of 196.

Paige Hillman tied for second place with a round of 40, one stroke behind medalist Sidney Brown of Eau Claire North. Ali Wefel tied for ninth with 50 and Lauren Gertschen tied for tenth with 51. Courtney Dummer rounded out the Raider's team total with 55 while Makayla Shilts finished with 62.

River Falls finished first in the team competition with a score of 180 and Eau Claire Memorial was second with 191. Hudson edged Eau Claire North by two strokes for third place while Menomonie ws fifth with 203, Chippewa Falls placed sixth with 210 and Rice Lake placed last with 322.

The Raiders will visit the River Falls Golf Club for a 9-hole BRC match Monday, Sept. 10 and play at Mill Run in Eau Claire Tuesday, Sept. 11 before traveling to Chippewa Falls for the final regular season match of the season Thursday, Sept. 13.
