Ben Lundeen scored two goals and AJ Cohen posted his eighth shutout of the season as the Hudson boys hockey team clinched its third straight Big Rivers Conference title with a 3-0 win over Chippewa Falls Thursday night, Feb. 8, at Gornick Arena.

The victory improved the top-ranked Raiders record to 22-0-1 overall and wrapped up the BRC title with a conference mark of 11-0-1.

Lundeen's first goal came on a power play 2 minutes, 11 seconds into the second period to give the Raiders a 1-0 lead. Jordon Halverson and Peyton Hanson assisted.

Carter Maack made it a 2-0 game 4:11 into the third period when he chased down a loose puck in the neutral zone and took it all the way to the net before beating Cardinal goalie Jaden Hoople up high. Just 42 seconds later Lundeen took a pass from Cole Danielson and beat Hoople to make the final 3-0.

Cohen stopped all 10 shots he faced as the Raiders outshot the Cardinals, 39-10.

Hudson will wrap up the regular season at Green Bay Notre Dame Saturday, Feb. 10, before opening the postseason as the No. 1 seed at home against either eighth-seeded Somerset or No. 9 Barron Thursday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.
