Girls Hockey: Raiders drop second game at Burnsville Tourney

Park of Cottage Grove scored four goals in the third period to erase a 2-1 Hudson lead and post a 5-2 victory over the Raiders in the second game of the Burnsville Holiday Tournament Thursday, Dec. 27, in Burnsville, Minn.

Mallory Thompson's unassisted goal 4 minutes, 51 seconds into the second period gave Hudson a 2-1 lead but Park scored four goals in a nine-minute span in the third, including the game-tying goal 5:15 in.

Bailee Dierks scored Hudson's first goal midway through the first period, assisted by Kennedy Hendricks.

Raider goalie Amelia Halunen finished with 17 saves as Hudson outshot Park 27-22.

Hudson will play host Burnsville in the final game of the tournament Friday, Dec. 28.
