Hudson Raider Shooting Club sign-ups

The Hudson Raiders Shooting Club (HRSC) invites students grades 5-12 to an informational meeting at the Hudson Rod & Gun Club (285 Krattley Lane, North Hudson) at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19.

By joining the HRSC, kids are provided the opportunity to participate in the fun and challenging shooting sports of trap, skeet and sporting clays. For those who are dedicated to honing their skills, the HRSC can provide them a pathway to the U.S. Olympic Shooting Team.

HRSC shooters compete weekly in virtual conference rounds against shooters from River Falls, New Richmond and Amery, to name a few. There are also opportunities to compete in tournaments in Minnesota and Wisconsin, the state trap shoot in Rome in June and the National Championship in Marengo, Ohio in July.

Whether the kids choose to try their hand at trapshooting, skeet, sporting clays or shoot all three disciplines, trained and dedicated adult coaches are there to help kids improve and develop their skills. Safe handling and use of firearms is top priority.
