Hudson lacrosse to host playoff game June 2

The Hudson Area Lacrosse Association varsity boys' team will open the Wisconsin Lacrosse Federation state tournament against Sun Prairie Saturday, June 2, at 1 p.m. at the high school's Raider Stadium.

This year's WLF State Tournament features 20 teams with the championship round scheduled for June 8-9 at Carroll University in Waukesha.

This is Hudson's third year competing as in independent team in the WLF after playing in the Minnesota Boys Scholastic Lacrosse Association since its inception in 2008. The Raiders reached the WLF championship game in 2016 before losing in overtime to Kettle Moraine.
