Duffee, Lewis named all-state
Fresh off earning Big Rivers Conference offensive and defensive player of the year honors, Hudson sophomore Stella Duffee and senior Annika Lewis have received honorable mention to the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association All-State Team.
Duffee was named BRC Offensive Player of the Year after registering 13 goals and 12 assists from her forward position while Lewis, a three-time All-BRC pick, earned Defensive Player of the Year honors after anchoring a Raider back line that kept opponents scoreless in 11 of the team's 13 conference games.
Duffee and Lewis headlined a list of 10 Raiders named to All-BRC teams. They were joined on the first team by senior midfielder Camryn Masini and junior forward Sydney Spencer, while senior captain Marly Johnston, junior forward Liz Collinson, junior midfielder Ella Young and senior goalkeeper Mykena Olsen earned second team honors and senior defender Madison Danielson and senior captain and midfielder Carley Tewinkel received honorable mention.
The Raiders posted a perfect 13-0 record in BRC play this season to win their first conference title since 2002.
