Hudson senior Bailee Dierks, center, is flanked by her parents Jason, left, and Missy after signing her National Letter of Intent to run track at North Dakota State University Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the high school. Dierks is a three-time state qualifier in the hurdles and as a member of the Raider girls' 4x200 meter relay teams, earning a total of five medals, including a state runner-up finish in the 100 meter hurdles as a sophomore in 2017. Bob Burrows

Bob Burrows has been sports editor at the River Falls Journal since 1996 and at the Hudson Star-Observer since 2009. Prior to joining the Journal, Burrows served as sports editor with Ledger Publications in Balsam Lake, Wis. A native of Bayonne, N.J. and a U.S. Navy veteran, Burrows attended Marquette University before completing his studies at UW-River Falls in 1992.
