Wrestlers roll over North

The Raider wrestling team had little trouble at Eau Eau Claire North Thursday, Dec. 7, cruising to a 77-4 victory over the Huskies for their second straight Big Rivers Conference win of the season.

Hudson recorded seven pins, and a technical fall while picking up five forfeits to remain undefeated in BRC duals.

The Raiders opened the match with three straight pins from Matthew Feia at 120 pounds, Isaac Hatch at 126 and Peter Hansen at 132 before the Huskies scored their only points of the night with a major decision at 138.

Vincent Fanning posted a 17-1 technical fall at 152 pounds, sandwiched around a pair of Eau Claire North forfeits at 145 and 160, before Jacob Anderson earned a pin in 58 seconds at 170 pounds.

After two more Husky forfeits, Alonzo Madsen and Cole Godbout registered pins at 220 and 285 pounds, respectively, before Leo Draveling ended the night with a pin at 113 pounds.

The Raiders will compete in the Marty Loy Invitational in Fond du Lac this Saturday, Dec. 16, and visit Mahtomedi for a dual Thursday, Dec. 21, before heading to the two-day Bi-State Classic in La Crosse Dec. 29-30.
