State Wrestling: Fuller, Williamson, Anderson reach final day

River Falls' Nathan Fuller and Mitchell Williamson and Hudson's Jacob Anderson, will all wrestle for spots on the podium on the final day of the WIAA Individual State Tournament today, Saturday, Feb. 24.

Fuller and Williamson dropped their semifinal matches Friday night while Anderson won his consolation quarterfinal match to join Fuller and Williamson in the consolation semifinals.

Fuller (43-5) dropped a 7-4 decision to Josh Otto of Arrowhead (46-1) in the 152 pound semifinals and will face Dajun Johnson of Whitefish Bay/Dominican (35-4) in today's consolation semifinals.

Williamson (32-2) lost a 9-4 to Keeanu Benton of Janesville Craig (45-1) and will wrestle Aodan Marshall of Soughton (37-7) in the 285 pound consolation semifinals.

Anderson (44-3) moved on with a 13-4 major decision over Ben Statz of Waunakee (13-4) in his 160 pound consolation quarterfinal match Friday and will face Reed Williams of Holmen (44-9) today.

River Falls' 195-pounder Chance Kamrowski (41-8) saw his season end with a 6-4 loss to Stephen Maule of Watertown (33-2) in the consolation quarterfinals Friday.
