Hudson Heroes honored for their work

Students at Hudson Prairie Elementary School recently participated in their annual Pennies for Patients campaign, raising money for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This year, the school goal was to raise $1,800. Hudson Prairie students far exceeded their goal, reaching their greatest total ever, enthusiastically raising $3,152.53. Students at Hudson Prairie recently celebrated the kick off of Power Up with a free family skate night. The event also celebrated student efforts in their physical education unit on skating. Families were invited to attend one of three skate sessions offered; 51 families participated in the healthy family activity sponsored by the Hudson Prairie Student Wellness Committee.
